Ria Murray, PNG- Village Children (PEOPLE 2024)

On a rainy morning heading up the Sepik river, almost put my camera away and then spotted these children on the verandah of this home. really liked the grainy effect caused by the rain. Inside the home one lightbulb, powered by 2 little solar panels when the sun is out only, no running water, extreme poverty, and yet the children are happy.
