James Ford, Playing with Fire (PEOPLE 2021)

Best shot out of 3000. This was one of many shots from a photoshoot with a trio of fire performing artists last December. Due to the wild, chaotic nature of fire, extra care has to be taken in shooting and post processing it. Especially if it is your only source of light. Shot on a Fujifilm X-T3 at 50mm, F/1.0, 1/250s, ISO 1600. Shot and originally edited in colour using Lightroom and Photoshop. Converted to greyscale with a single tone of orange blended into the highlights to bring back warmth into the monochrome image.
