This is a portrait of Philip Dale, Pitcher, Coach, Mentor; the first Australian to receive a 4-year Baseball scholarship to an American university. For this sitting Phil, donned his favourite Championship Series ring (he has ten) as he reflected on his Baseball journey… from a distinguished pitching career to an even longer coaching one, taking the Australian Baseball team to the 2000, 2004 (silver) Olympics and numerous World Cups to now fostering the next generation of baseballers as coach at the club level and scouting new talent in the Asia-Pacific for the MLB.
