We often have a particluar mindset about how something looks. On a mission to capture different perspectives. Often birds turn their head to look at your sideways. Keeping front view visual is fleeting. I captured this Pelican sitting above me eyes "straigh on". There was a breeze that fluffed up its feathers to add to the interest (I deliberately chose a windy day hoping to capture something a bit different..
