Rudi Tot, Osaka's Flamethrower Chef: Toyoji-san (People)

Travelling around Osaka, I was made aware of a unique chef. Nicknamed as "Osaka's Flamethrower Chef", I went to his restaurant. It's in a relatively quiet neighbourhood in Osaka, on a side street, not far from Kyobashi train station. You're drawn to the smell of cooked tuna, while eagerly waiting in line to get a table, that you share with locals and tourists. Toyoji-san claps loud to make aware of his clientele what is coming up. He uses his hand as his tools of trade, while dunking it is a bucket of iced water. The noise and heat of the flamethrower has tourists taking photos and videos. This photo shows the extreme heat. Tuna cheek cooked in a matter of minutes. Perfect
