Heidi Margocsy, One For The Road (PEOPLE 2025)

Pixie Lighthorse, is an indigenous author, activist and rancher’s daughter who lives in Oregon’s high desert. Wearing her late father's watch to stay connected to him across space and time, she sits in contemplation in the vintage truck he was restoring on the sacred land they worked together. Her father was a Native American cowboy from the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, who embodied the humble, hardworking spirit of the West. He left her a beautiful legacy and many stories to guide their family safely onward. In loving memory of Donnie Carr 1954-2023
