Janice Terrill, Olive backed sunbird building its nest (ANIMALS 2026)

A pair of olive backed sunbirds decided to build their nest hanging from my clothes line. I was very concerned about predators and weather and in the end it wasn't used, but I spent several hours one morning watching from a distance as they poked vegetation into their creation.
