Paul Jarvis, Ngolyenok (Carnaby's Black Cockatoo) (ANIMALS 2023)

Ngolyenok to the first people of the land on which it lives, the Carnaby's Black Cockatoo fights for survival against a tide of threats. Habitat destruction and food source shortage its primary threats pushing this precious species to the brink of extinction. This female Ngolyenok momentarily pauses as she approaches a branch forming an angelic outline against the featureless beyond.
