Melinda Downey, Mr Pelican out for Lunch (ANIMALS 2025)

This little guy was swimming around a fisherman's line the previous day, and I captured some truly stunning images. Alas none of them reached their potential due to the ISO set positioned from the night before, and so when I saw him back again this day, I was glad to have an opportunity to seize, and it paid off. I enjoy seeing Mr Pelican almost every day - he is very routine and so lovely. Awfully photogenic.
