Venkatesh Kittur, Mother and Pup Flying Fox (ANIMALS 2024)

Who says they are not cute in their life upside down.. Flying fox mothers typically give birth to a maximum of one baby every year. Because newborns are entirely dependent on their mothers in the first few months of life, they cling to her when she goes off foraging at night. To get a solid grip, they hang onto her nipple located under her wing, and grip around her waist with their hind legs. Generally, human beings are conditioned to see the beauty of things only when it is presented in the conventional layout. For this reason, I have rotated the image by 180 deg.
