One morning, I was kayaking on Wagonga Inlet at Narooma when I saw this Great Egret. It was still early so the sun was not fully up. However, a sunray was shining on this egret while in front and behind it was still in shadow, making the white plumage really stand out. I was happy that I was able to capture the plumage texture on its body and also the reflection in the water.
