Cape Schanck is one of the most highly visited places on the Mornington Peninsula. Photographers and Tourists will travel far and wide at an opportunity to come and shoot Pulpit Rock or The Lighthouse at sunset or a Milky Way Photo; however, when the moon is out, Cape Scahnck is isolated. The landscape takes a different shape under the moon, it's peaceful and eery. The sound of the waves that crash against the pebble shoreline sounds like a machine with awesome crushing power. When you stand there and take all that in, the scenery, the sounds, and the gentle breeze The place becomes tranquil. This was a single exposure of 30 seconds at f/5.6 taken at 10:45 pm on 18 May 2024.
