Louise Faulkner, Moonan lace (PLACES 2021)

Every year we make the journey to Moonan Brook. A place of no wifi, no busy-ness, no distractions. Nestled under the western wing of the Barrington Tops, this beautiful spot demands close attention. The rising and falling waters of the brook, the wildness of the forest lit briefly by the morning sun, the delicate lace of flowering plants and weeds, the snoring wombat under the house. The devil is in the detail at Moonan.
