I’ve always been drawn to grain silos that dot the country and our cities. They somehow seem to be a marker and give a sense of significance and industry. They are impressive structures and sit tall, prominent and proud on the landscape – like beacons. Now they are rarely used and they represent something else – how we move on, how we discard, that we forge other ways and that nothing can be taken for granted.
