Anita Verde, ‘Mirror Image’ (ANIMALS 2021)

I always knew that these shaggy red-haired great apes are our closest relatives in the world, but I was surprised to notice that like us humans they actually have a hair - line ! As I took this portrait I wondered what she was thinking? Such a pensive expression.
