John Stewart, Manya Van de Graaff (PEOPLE 2021)

Manya Van de Graaff is one of my dearest friends, who spent more than two years in a Japanese prison camp in Indonesia with her mother and three other siblings. Today, Manya is finally retired after a busy career in medicine and is often found immersed in books, art, theatre and poetry groups.
