Teague Leigh, Many Brave Hearts (PLACES 2023)

During World Pride Sydney in 2023 the amazingly industrial Carriageworks was converted into a First Nations meeting place and entertainment space. Blown away by the internal and external erchitecture, as well as the old factory machinery still found on the grounds, I took many images whilst on site. This image, however, spoke to me of not only Sydney's colonising past, but of a country that embraces our Indigenous history and makes way for a collaborative, diverse future.
