Simon Dow, Maldon Portrait series 2022 (PEOPLE 2022)

These two portraits form a body of work that will culminate in an exhibition. My project involves portraits of residents in Maldon, central Victoria that span generations and demographics and speak to the archetypal aspects of human experience from great joy through grief to the sublime and the surreal. The series has included now some twenty five people and this project will continue over time.
