James McKenna, Mafuta (ANIMALS 2022)

Mafuta is the male white lion at Mogo Zoo. I was privileged this day that he decided to lay down in the shade about 4 metres from me. I had to shoot through heavy gauge wire which was not a problem. There was no other people around just the 2 of us so for me it was the perfect portrait session.
