Sonia Turner, Luke (PEOPLE 2025)

I've always been fascinated with black and white portraits (both old and new). I find myself curios about the person, who they are, what their voice sounds like, their day-to-day life and particularly their personalities. I chose to photograph the sitter in black and white as I felt this gives a stronger intensity and drew you straight into his gaze. I feel it brings to the viewer the curiosity of wonder, asking themselves who are you, what makes you tick, where have you been and where is day-to-day life taking you.
