Brigette Shutkowski, Lost in Paris - girl in café (PEOPLE 2026)

I found this scene while on a Street Photography course with Valérie Jardin in Paris last year. I was drawn to her framed portrait in the café mirror - juxtaposed with the backshot. A decisive moment with just one click as I kept moving so as not to disturb her moment or the scene. On looking at this the viewer may question - is she looking at or through and by me the photographer..
