As old as the dawn of time, lobster and fish hunting is not only for recreation but for survival in some circumstances. My neighbour, Ian is one of these people. Being a Surfer my whole life have spent the majority of my life on top of the water but very little in the depths of it. This intrigues me. I wanted to capture the raw and stealth like characteristics used to catch these creatures. The feeling that you nearly need to be one with ocean it is tone, movement and lack of fear to succeed in this quest.
