Amber King, Little Raven's Wing (ANIMALS 2024)

A Little Raven Corvus Mellori landed near me whilst out hiking. He stretched his wings and started grooming, whilst his blue eyes watched me intently. Being so close the detail of the outstretched feathers with intricate crosshatched detail captured in the subtle afternoon sunlight created a beautiful image. Gone in a second when he moved to a nearby tree.
