Angela Farnsworth, Lines of a Lifetime (PEOPLE 2026)

I was in India recently and was in a vehicle that was stopped at a set of traffic lights. As is the norm usually kids or mothers holding babies come up to the window looking for money. From the back seat I see this incredibly deeply lined woman begging and took a quick photo with my camera as I didn't want to cause her any stress. As we moved off through the traffic it saddened me greatly that this elderly woman has been reduced to begging on the streets and that she is not being looked after by family or the system.
