Liminality This portrait documents a woman within liminal space, created through an ancient ritual of gathering, known as a women’s circle.

Entered with intention, women step outside familiar roles and cross into a transitional state in which stories and collective listening become tools for transformation. Liminality becomes a site of quiet reckoning, where memory, emotion, and identity are held, examined, and gently rewritten. One is no longer who they were, not yet who they’ll become, they sit at the threshold of past and future. What emerges is raw and powerful, vulnerable yet deeply connected to the self.
