In this photograph, I wanted to capture a fleeting moment where I witnessed a lone fox crossing the busy city streets of London, through the lens of Cartier-Bresson’s concept of the “Decisive Moment”. The photo highlights the poignant stillness of a fox against a dynamic background and its quiet resilience in the most unexpected of settings, exploring the art of contrasts - the fragility of nature against a harsh industrial setting and humanity’s indifference to the beauty of the natural world, yet ultimately revealing a liminal threshold of harmony within urban coexistence.
