Skye Auer, Life Buoy (PEOPLE 2021)

My husband following our teenage daughter down the dark waters of the Snowy River, during a very difficult time in her life. If he could have taken that inner tube and used it to give her the buoyancy she so desperately needed out in the world, he would have moved the earth to do so.
