Natalie Cunningham, Last One Awake (ANIMALS 2022)

From my series, Daisy's Babies which documents a rescued mother dog and her 2 week old puppies in foster care, "The Last One Awake" depicts the individuality of this puppy as it keeps wanting to play while his siblings drift off to sleep. The presence of personality and emotion evokes empathy in humans, highlighting the value of these animal's lives which is the sole purpose of "The Last One Awake"
