Teresa Madgwick, Landed (ANIMALS 2025)

The Red Necked Stints fly all the way from Siberia and Alaska, and at only about 30 grams, that is quite a feat. Once here on Australian shores, however, they continually forage along the shoreline, which at times means they take flight again for short distances.
