Margaret Jones, Lake Heron in Winter (PLACES 2026)

The quiteness of the day along Lake Heron in winter grabbed my attention. Just being there was enough then a long paddler come into view. He sits darkened in the lake as a hint of being there but not sufficient to disturb my peacful moment.
