Helena Kristel, Kirkjufellsfoss (PLACES 2024)

Kirkjufellsfoss, translates to 'Church Mountain Waterfall' in Icelandic. Kirkjufell is claimed to be the most photographed mountain in this country. I am not surprised, it is very scenic and easy to access. This mountain and waterfall were high on my list to photograph during my trip in May 2023. Inclement weather hindered my first effort, I was very pleased that I had a second opportunity and thoroughly enjoyed spending time at this location doing what I love.
