Callum Rogers, Jaws Dropped, No Color Needed (ANIMALS 2025)
Photographing a great white shark in South Australia is an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience. As you stand in the bottom cage at the ocean floor, with the deep blue water reflecting the sunlight. Then, out of the depths, the great white emerges—its powerful body cutting through the water with incredible grace. The adrenaline rush of seeing such a massive predator up close is unmatched, but there's also a sense of respect and awe for these majestic creatures. Every shot you take feels like capturing a piece of raw, untamed beauty, with the challenge being not just getting the perfect photo (due to hundreds of trevallies), while ensuring the shark’s natural behavior isn’t disturbed. It’s an experience that humbles you and leaves you with a deep appreciation for the ocean and its incredible creatures.
