Lauren Kajewski, Isolation (Places)
Queen Charlotte Strait is a magical place separating the northernmost point of Vancouver Island from mainland British Colombia. Having spent the morning zipping up the Strait on the look out for grizzlies, eagle, whales and dolphins we were welcomed in for lunch at Lagoon Cove Marina - a tiny little outlet along the Straight. Looking out from the boardwalk, in drizzling rain, I grabbed these shots with my iPhone. The isolation was all consuming, and oh so peaceful.
