This medium format film photograph was taken on the East Coast of Tasmania, Australia, in 2023 using a Hasselblad 500CM camera and 120 Ilford HP5+ film. The image features an in-camera double exposure technique, reflecting emotion held in the landscape and the dissolution of memory. As memories blur and fade, there is a likeness to the ebb and flow of the ocean - this image embodying the transient and intangible space where the waves meet the shore.
