Kelly Marie Slater, Inscribed Cascade (PLACES 2022)

This Tasmanian mountain stream has inscribed it's flow through a cleft in the bedrock, through winter and spring this cascade plunges in to a hidden pool just out of the camera's view. Perched on slippery rocks, ringed by a deep pool the photographer left wondering just what it looks like beyond the cleft.
