Hanne Matthews, In the right place at the right time (ANIMALS 2022)

While walking in West Albury wetlands, NSW, I started following this cute Black swan family from a distance. I noticed there was a dead tree casting a shadow onto the water some distance away, so I moved myself to a better place and waited and hoped that the family would swim to the right spot. I was SO happy when the mom moved towards to that exact spot and the babies followed her, and I was able to capture this moment.
