Charlotte Carter, I'm Puffin Serious (ANIMALS 2025)

I had my first run-in with Atlantic puffins in Ireland, and I was instantly charmed by their cheeky personalities. Against the backdrop of crashing waves, one bold bird paused in the perfect “attitude” pose, its head cocked and feathers fluffed. I thought a black-and-white conversion would perfectly highlight every texture and the gleam in its eye. This shot is as much about the thrill of discovering wild beauty as it is about the puffin’s undeniable swagger.
