Hossein Nouri, History Gates (PLACES 2024)

A part of the palace of Dariush Achaemenid, emperor of Iran for more than 500 years BC. In 1971, the last king of Iran celebrated the 2,500th anniversary of the kingdom's history near this palace and next to the tomb of Cyrus the Great. Less than eight years later, the Islamic revolution ended the imperial rule of Iran. The Islamic government is not proud of the history of the kingdom of Iran!
