I was wanting to capture images of the Osprey when 180 degrees away something caught my eye. The contrast was perfect. The tide was going out. My feet sinking into the sand and I knew I only had a moment to capture this beautiful heron. Sometimes you see magic through the lens and know if you capture it, you have something special. This was one of those rare moments. I only had seconds before I sank into the sand, and then the Heron flew away.
