Ricardo Nankoo, Have Faith (PEOPLE 2022)

It was a cloudy day at the beach when I took this picture with my drone and I’m the person standing alone on the beach. When I look at this photo, I have the sentiment that life brings a lot uncertainties that keeps coming relentlessly, just like the waves crashing on the beach, we can either walk away from these challenges like many have done before, by leaving our footsteps behind in the sand or simply stand firm and face the upcoming storm. There is always hope and sunshine after a storm and the decisions we make, will be our legacies just like the shadow in the sand.
