Hiking around the main range in the Snowy Mountains in summer, I was struck by the harshness of the midday light on the rocky outcrops around the range and decided to do a series of monochrome images depicting the feeling that this experience evoked. This is very much a departure from my typical style of colourful seascape imagery.
