Bogamble (Mt Buffalo) is a special place, dotted with ancient granite and hardy snow gums. I was drawn to the furrows in this rock, like wrinkles on an old face. This rock has witnessed the seasons come and go, the land razed by fire and cooled by snow. The first nations people seeking bogong moths, and now the bushwalkers and skiers seeking joy and solace in this land. The rock has provided shelter for this gum tree, watched it grow, and now they stand, like friends, watching time pass together.
