Nature decides on the structure and the amount of water that is given to sustain all living things or at least allows them to survive. Here you can see the skeleton of the trees that were taken by fire previous seasons and yet the stream stood right beside them not being able to provide protection of any sort and the ground covered with snow hiding the growth underneath for the spring grazing the animals and insects will need but taking the much needed forage for winter to make for the survival of the fittest and most determined. She indeeds gives and takes at the same time.
