Kay Gibbons-Buckwell, Gez (PEOPLE 2021)

Gez is a fighter. He's also my dad. Some people on this planet get it easy. My dad never did. A survivor of domestic violence and alcoholism, he now lives in aged care and getting the love he (and every human) deserves. I'm making up for lost time in daddy-daughter moments. He's making up for lost time finally understanding what unconditional love is.
