Hannelie van der Merwe, Get Lost (ANIMALS 2022)

During the Covid pandemic lockdown WA was isolated from the rest of Australia and a golden opportunity to explore everything local. This image was taken at Perth Zoo's orangutan enclosure. I was lucky enough to catch this orangutan scratching the eye with the middle finger. Did manage to get a few images where the index finger was used but only 1 with the middle finger, as if I was getting told off!
