Jenny Pavlou, Full Signal, No Reception (PEOPLE 2026)

Outside the State Library Melbourne - a place built for connection through ideas - three are sharing a bench, but not a moment. The two young women scroll endlessly through their digital worlds, while beside them a man folds into himself, backpack dropped beside him, phone idle in his hand. His stare drifts far beyond the frame as though searching for something no screen can offer. In monochrome, the image strips life back to contrast posture, revealing a quiet irony of modern life: never more connected, yet never more alone.
