I was asked to take kitten photographs for a small rescue at an adoption event in Wellington, New Zealand. I discovered that kittens are hard to photograph well but bring so much joy with every leap and wriggle. This little gentleman was, just for a moment, on the right shoulder at the right time, full of hope calmly looking as if he was taking applications for his 'forever home'.
