Cheryl Dunn, Fishing in slow motion (PEOPLE 2026)

One early morning by the seaside I was playing around with long exposure images of the ocean. When a few fisherman turned up, I decided to experiment with people in the image as well. The main fisherman in this image, had a hunched back and struggled to walk across the sand, but this did not appear to hinder his love of fishing. With the aid of what appeared to be a home made contraption with a couple of bicycle wheels and a bucket/seat he had the perfect support he needed to get his equipment across the sand and a seat to rest between bites.
