Datong Wu, Fisher (PLACES 2023)

November 2022-- mid summer evening in Australia. The photo was taken at Glenelg Beach in Adelaide, South Australia. An amusement park is right behind the trestle bridge. When the sound of kids screaming and loud music playing are behind, these two fishermen were leaning on the railing and waiting for fish to bite. With the beautiful sunset in the sky, the view of these two fishermen and the quietness they created touched me. Everything was so perfect and that scene seemed frozen for me at that moment.
