This image was chosen from the many I captured during a recent street wheelchair race because of my main subject’s split-second decision to look at the bicycle in the window as he’s being chased by another competitor. It’s in that moment we wonder what he may’ve been thinking. Without the distraction of colour, the image is stripped down to its essence and the truth of that moment.
